Acerola s.r.o. (hereinafter "Controller") operates the HappyDent Academy platform and is responsible for the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

When registering for events and using the platform, we collect the following data:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Clinic name and city
• Professional specialization
• Billing information (when making a payment)
• Event attendance data (check-in/check-out)

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Organization and management of educational events
• Processing registrations and payments
• Issuing invoices and tax documents
• Sending tickets, confirmations, and certificates
• Attendance records for SKZL requirements (CME credits)
• Communication about events (email notifications)

4. Legal Basis

Processing of your data is based on: (a) performance of a contract — event registration; (b) legitimate interest — sending information about future events; (c) legal obligation — retention of accounting records.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. When paying by card, your card details are processed directly by Stripe and the Controller does not have access to them. Payment data is subject to Stripe's privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy).

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the processing purpose. Registration data — for the duration of valid consent or 5 years from the last event attendance. Accounting and billing data — 10 years in accordance with accounting legislation.

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
