These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights and obligations between Acerola s.r.o. (hereinafter "Operator") and users of the HappyDent Academy platform (hereinafter "Platform").

2. Description of Service

The HappyDent Academy Platform is used for organizing professional educational events in dentistry. Through the Platform, users can browse available events, register for them, pay registration fees, and obtain certificates of completion.

3. Event Registration

Event registration is binding upon submission of the registration form. By submitting the form, the user confirms they have read and agree to these Terms. Registration is confirmed only after payment of the registration fee (for paid events).

4. Pricing and Payments

All prices on the Platform are listed in euros (EUR) including VAT, unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through the Stripe payment gateway. The Operator does not have access to users' payment card data — these are processed directly by Stripe, Inc.

Upon payment, an invoice (tax document) will be sent to the email provided during registration.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration can be cancelled under the following conditions:

• More than 14 days before the event — full refund of the registration fee
• 7–14 days before the event — 50% refund of the registration fee
• Less than 7 days before the event — no refund

Send cancellation requests to contact@acerola.tech. Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

6. Event Modification or Cancellation

The Operator reserves the right to modify the event program, date, venue, or speakers. Registered attendees will be notified of any material changes by email. In case of complete event cancellation, the registration fee will be fully refunded.

7. Certificates and Attendance

A certificate of completion is issued to attendees who meet the minimum attendance time set for the event. Attendance is recorded through the check-in/check-out system at the venue.

8. Liability

The Operator is not liable for damages caused by technical outages of the Platform, incorrect data provided by the user, or damages related to event attendance (except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence).

9. Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy.

10. Final Provisions

These Terms are valid and effective from July 11, 2026. The Operator reserves the right to amend the Terms. The current version is always available on the Platform. Legal relations not governed by these Terms are subject to the laws of the Slovak Republic.
